Great place for some food and a movie. The reason I rate this 3 stars and it's not the employees fault but some guest who come to watch movies they like to remove there shoes and socks you are forced to be bombarded with the smell of feet Other then that this cinema is a fantastic place and friendly service
I utilise the caf bar, bookshop and cinemas regularly. However although the bookshop is fabulous and beautiful I find that it is often too hot in there for long periods of browsing. I rarely see a movie I dont enjoy at this cinema and there are a number of different sized boutique screening rooms. Its easy to kill a few hours there and the food and coffee are pretty good too.
Rooftop cinema -an amazing experience. Three types of outdoor chairs so there's one to suit most people. Cute little bar to purchase drinks and snacks before the movie starts, lovely vista up to the mountain and out over the river while waiting for the movie to start.
The staff were the best part of our visit here - very friendly and helpful. The cinemas themselves are small and clean. Recommend this cinema if you're looking to while away the time with a good movie.
This cinema is a must to visit in Hobart. Sit in comfy chairs, sip a wine, or hot chocolate, or have dinner beforehand. No nasty popcorn smells here. Great movie selection. And the best bookshop to browse in before or after movie!
