This is a nice and spacious bike shop, with plenty of bikes on display.Staff were friendly and approachable, and happy to let you browse.Lots of MTB on the floor, but also a fair number of road bikes on the side.The location wasn't that far from other bike shops (a block away to the next one), but higher up on the hill and around the corner. The mechanics were working on bikes out in the shop, not hidden away, so thumbs up for keeping the shop clean and tidy. They also had plenty of e-bikes (MTB) on display - maybe that's what the locals commute on.
I had my 6 years old roadie serviced at McBains this week. It looks and feels like a brand new bike again. Nice work John. Cheers
