Absolutely 5 start experience, best dentist I have ever met. Patient, professional, understanding and so friendly. Dr Alex Du Bois listened and understood all what I needed to say, explained everything in great details even with simple drawings to illustrate, and tailored my options for treatments. Office staff and environment was so nice as well. Sarah was kind and helpful to later email me Alex's note. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Hobart Periodontics - Review By Barry Teague - 27 June 2017.After having 3 teeth removed, I made an appointment to see Dr. Alex du Bois at Hobart Periodontics as I was interested in having dental implants to replace those teeth. My initial consultation was in March where Dr. Alex explained the procedure in full where it was decided that the best course of action was 2 implants which would ultimately support 2 crowns and a bridge.After impressions were made in April, the implants were inserted on 2 May.A review was completed on 9 May and a torque test conducted today to make sure the implants were secure so I could proceed to the next phase with my dentist which is for the crowns and bridge to be attached.Throughout this whole process, I was very impressed with the professionalism of Dr. Alex and the staff. Advice on procedure was detailed and all done in a very friendly and comfortable way. All questions were answered to my satisfaction and if there was anything that I had missed or if I needed more information Dr. Alex made himself available at any time.The insertion of the implants was about a one and a half hour procedure under local anaesthetic and it was "a walk in the park" it went so well. I did not feel a thing and felt very comfortable throughout the whole process.I would thoroughly recommend Dr. Alex and staff to anyone seeking this type of treatment and I now look forward to the next phase of the plan which is with my dentist.5 stars from me.
