The worst hospital in the country.Ive been in a and e several times.One so called Dr told me they are not there to treat chronic pain!!!! Another time laughed at by a young nurse after severalattempts to take blood after Id told her not to take from a certain pla c e on my arm as it was injured.She did exactly the opposite.walked off with a laugh saying...that wasnt too bad was it!!! Several admissions and seclusion room for CPTSD and untreated bi polar disorder.Treated like a piece of crap every time.The psych nurses (all bar1) dont care at all.Been too long in the industry .Sooooo non understanding.Unempathetic.Ive been in there suicidal and attempts many times.Result...sent home within hours.Disgusting staff attitude to those with mental health issues.I also contracted golden staff.4 major surgeries.Dirty surrounds.I wouldnt go back uf i were dying.Complaints I made not taken seriously.I have lived and been to oublic hosoitals in 4 states.All for medical and mental health.CONGRATULATIONS ROYAL HOBART...YOU ARE THE PITS.
Ive been here for a week and nobody stands still and no task is too large. I've probably met near 100 staff and they were all great. There were some minor confusions and mix ups but this was by no means due to lack of staff care, skill, or dedication. These people haven't stopped moving every day I've been here, reviewing charts, taking vitals and ensuring patient comfort. It is also the busy season so I imagine that they are short on staff. Hats off to all these people helping others at the Royal!
Michael Brown who is part of Medical Emergency Team has a special gift. The Hospital should employ more people like him. He looked after my wife on new years day. You are a gem MATE AND WE RATE YOU 29 OUT OF 10. Ernest Drozdz

After a very shocker of a start getting miss diagnosed then told I just have a viral infection and that the doctor would eat his hate if he was wrong. Turns out he was wrong..... very wrong and needless to say I never seen that doctor again. It was way more serious and it wasnt till I was in the most pain I have ever been in until something happened. From there it was quick to get surgery... they saved my life. Yes I did just say that. For how under the pump everyone was I did find my care to be exceptional.
I'm from another State and had to phone the RHH to get some information.Reception obviously hates her job and doesn't want to be there. The next woman I spoke with was so full of attitude I was waiting for her to scream at me.Times are tough in our Health system and it's shining through at all levels.First impressions are paramount. We put our lives in your hands. That is your expertise. People need reassurance not attitude.RHH you need to boost the morale of your employees.
