Really not happy with one of the male representative at the desk as he wasn't polite
Always wait an overly lengthy time for customer service. Agree with the post about showing drivers licence to staff, it is a concern that Medibank responded about it being for extra security reasons which leads one to wonder what are the security problems or lack thereof that they are having which they have not to my personal knowledge shared with their members? That's a big worry. There's always a caution about showing too much ID when it is unnecessary and wanted for no genuinely valid reason that is shared. Await with interest Medibank's further update on their security issues? My elderly relative doesn't have a drivers licence and would be distressed just to be asked to show one. Could Medibank find some other way to ensure security?
Had to wait far too long for service which is always an issue. Had my Medibank member card & paperwork with my personal details concerning my (at this time) query only - BUT was asked for my drivers licence without any explanation as to why. Why?? Very off-putting and inappropriate. Medibank are always willing to accept my membership payment. Should have refused to show my drivers licence - unnecessary and no justification under the circumstances of my visit. Investigating taking my health insurance to another company after this excessive privacy invasion. If I had not had my drivers licence with me what would the staff member have wanted to see? And why?
