Only just moved into town recently and these guys were great! Cheers Mike and James - you both went above and beyond helping me out, and did a great job on the car. Super happy. I'll be recommending you for sure. Thanks again

Would give it a zero if possible. It's really frustrating when you're new to a place and don't know any places to go, and people take advantage of you.Went to get a roadworthy check and they did the typical mechanic business tactic of: you need this, this and this... and it's quite a big job, but don't worry, we can have it done today right away for you (it's your lucky day!). Essentially quoted me over a thousand dollars for a couple of hours work, and of course I had to pay for the check up which I just had to get done again somewhere else. Went to another place the next week, was literally half that price. To me, that's just plain dishonest charging $1000 for a $500 dollar job. It's not even close. And also just a really unfriendly dynamic there. The younger mechanic seemed okay, but the senior man and the receptionist just didn't seem to care about customers and had a real attitude. The other two places I have been so far in Hobart were really friendly, and you could tell they actually cared about the business, which was really nice actually and made me feel a lot better about auto shops here. There's hope! : )

Main car mechanic (south african guy) is very nice and enthusiastic about his work and always happy to answer all of my questions in a very understandable way. Overall they are upfront about all costs and keep me well informed about the status of my car. Really happy with them.

Had problems with my old Lancer so took it in, mike and the team outlined the problems, the costs and what repairs i was safe to leave for another year etcBooked back in a few days later and hey presto ! All sorted and for a reasonable priceCar drives like its newIf you want trusted mechanics who won't rip you off this is the place to goThanks guys !

Very rude staff and they are incompetent as my handbrake worked before I took it there and now it doesn't, they said they had to adjust it, so they must of adjusted it the wrong way or something. My car actually ran better before I took it there for a simple service, they didn't even replace my spark plugs so I had to do that myself. And they don't like working on older cars, they were quite clear on that one. I don't recommend anyone get a service from them, I know I won't be ever again, their work is very half assed and very expensive
