Stayed in the duplex room for two nights.Friendly and helpful staff.Good location near the Salamanca market. 10 mins walk to most of the restaurants around the harbour. Nice harbour view from balcony. In house washing and drying machine add score to it. Tips:Limited parking lots for guest. Some even with time limit.

( as of 18/12/18 ) AVOID!!.....Geared to cater to the Chinese market as our room came with a single Chinese language property and fashion magazine....for everyone else there are MUCH better options for the price....this late 1990s hotel is tired, soulless, the rooms have terrible energy saving / harsh white light globes, the mattress was as hard as a wooden pew, the pillows miniature bails of straw, it feels like a backpacker hostel, the bathroom and kitchen amenities are cheap and on par with a Best Western Motel at best...the only thing it has going for it is the somewhat iconic location ( beware this comes with a severe lack of privacy, as promenading pedestrians are within arms reach) theres extremely limited parking ( watch-out for ticket inspectors in the morning if parking on the main drag ) and the mini-bar items are OVERPRICED ( ie $4 for 350ml water ).....
Positives - It was in a great location right on the harbour, ideallic views and close to all the cafes and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean.Negatives - It isn't cheap to stay at, and the parking situation is an absolute joke...after having a massive day of driving came back to relax a bit before heading off again. Had to scrounge for suitable car space and due to fatigue left the little card which identifies people as staying at hotel in the glove box and within 20 minutes of returning a ticket inspector had booked me.. not ideal when you're on holidays.
