My friend and I stopped here for a drink before going to a show. It was one of the only bars in Hobart that was open on a Sunday night. Glad we went there because it's a wonderful atmosphere with good drink selection.Looks like it would be a great place to stay too.
We were recommended the Alabama Hotel by a friend. On arrival we were immediately captured by the quirky decor. Pot plants, pink flamingos and original artworks were generously scattered throughout and the rooms all have their own unique murals. The staff are really friendly with solid knowledge of the area. The bar is small but cosy and had a great selection of local drinks. The balcony is decked out with succulents and was a lovely place to have a cheeky glass of wine at the end of the day. The whole place felt like a modern version of a hotel from a Poirot novel (minus the crimes!). Would definitely stay again.
The atmosphere in this hotel is amazing. The furnitures are pretty cool. Our room was very clean as well as the shared bathroom. Staff was very friendly!
Excellent place to stay with groovy comfortable furnishings. The shared bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful and luggage storage is available. Refreshments including a great range of beer and wine is available from the cafe bar. Location is very central and convenient.
Great location and very friendly staff. Rooms are basic but good bed and very clean. Nice lounge to relax in.
