As regular fine diners, we were a bit apprehensive about coming here. After dining here last night, we are so glad we didn't miss this experience! Amazing creative food, prepared well with attention to detail. Make sure you visit! One of the best dining experiences we've had.
The food here was not great. One round was wallaby, since I have an allergy to red meat I could not eat it so they gave me an alternative. My alternative was a single raddish. The carrot (with cricket spread) was bigger than my meat substitute. Another course was dried beet root with coffee musli. Presentation was nice but it was dry and not edible. Not once did the staff ask us how the meal was or seem interested in the still non-eaten food. Save the money and go get some nice seafood elsewhere.

This is a really good restaurant. If you want to have a special meal with someone special, this is a good choice. The food is really good and creative. The menu is interesting. The wine is excellent. The service is really amazing as well. We sat in the middle of the room and found it quite comfortable. We loved the experience and plan to come back again for more.
Had a fantastic night here. Loved the set menu and the fact we didn't have to choose. Everything was mouthwatering, flavours and textures were just amazing. Staff were knowledgeable and fun and the service couldn't have been better. This restaurant holds its own against anywhere we have eaten in the world. A must if you are coming to Hobart.
