Dean and the staff here are amazing. I had a friend traveling around Australia and was celebrating her 40th birthday away from home. I contacted the guys at Rockwall and asked if they could make their night a bit special. Dean even organised the staff to sing her happy birthday. Talk about going above and beyond. She had a wonderful time.
We had the upstairs dining room was decent enough, but on first entering there is a caged storage area that is most unattractive and somewhat surprising to see.The food was variable and, like several other establishments, very little vegetables were included. As vegetables are good for you and cheap compared to meat, it is a puzzle why so little is included. The duck was dry and not particularly nice, however the grilled fish of the day was nice although plain.Initial service was good but the process for getting the bill delivered quite drawn out and inefficient.

It was okay. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff friendly, but our waitress failed to inform us of the specials. I ordered the twice-cooked duck, which had a lovely flavour but was a touch dry. My wife ordered a porterhouse, which again had a nice flavour, but we had ordered medium and it came out decidedly rare. I have no doubt the staff would have re-cooked it for us, but my wife does not like confrontation and so did not want to raise it. When I raised it with the staff at the end, they were very apologetic and professional. All in all, a good atmosphere with friendly staff, but the food let them down.
We were in the function room for a work Christmas dinner. Awesome pork belly and steak, others' meals also looked great. Good drinks selection. Service was the friendliest I've had anywhere in a long time.
