I felt so posh staying here. Such a stunning old building. Lovely touches. Great showers (water pressure and temp) even on the second floor. Comfy beds. Live music in the bar was a treat!
Staff were friendly and attentive. The standard rooms are cramped but sufficient. Musky smell from the room 'slightly' dampened the overall experience- perhaps unavoidable in a 200 year-old hotel. However, the small touches to the stay were lovely. The entire hotel is aesthetically pleasing.

Beautiful, old hotel in a rustic location. Lobby, bar, restaurant and room were all decorated and well maintained to suit the building. All staff we met were friendly & inviting. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The bar had a great atmosphere & games available.Parking is $17.50 per night a short walk away - make sure you call and reserve as spaces are limited!
We had a wonderful time staying with them on our short trip to Hobart, the reception was very friendly and the location of the hotel is just perfect, walking distance to the market and shopping streets. We had a lovely afternoon tea time at their gorgeous venue on the ground floor. The only drawback was we had allergy to the blanket in the room, they will need to be washed regularly especially during the cold months.
