Tasmania Sothebys has professional staff to deal with and experienced for past so many years on this real estate business really realible and trust worthy was reason why we continued with same agency and owner for past 3 years but due to certain circumstances we have to move but they really given us enough period to organise everything on time highly recommended.
I have found Sotheby's to be highly professional and to perform with the utmost of integrity. I have had issues with water leaking from the bathroom into the floor in a bedroom and Sotheby's have sent out plumber's on a couple of occasions to fix the leak and also arranged for the carpet to be dried out first, then cleaned and then to be replaced. They acted as quickly as they could and got the issue sorted out in a short period of time.
I've had the displeasure of renting with this company. Their unprofessional conduct is in itself unacceptable, but they also pull every rental agent trick in the book to cost you money. From demanding cleaning on items that are not cleanable, nor the responsibility of the tenant, to claiming bond money for conditions that are not stated in the lease. They are very aggressive and abusive, and I believe this stems from being staffed by family members, all willing to back each other up against their poor tenants, regardless of the circumstances. Working with family can either be really rewarding or friendly, or you get consistent abhorrent behaviour that is left unchecked. One star is too many for these horrible people. Do not go near them!
