The check in was a bit slow at Hobart but in saying that we were slow to collect our bags which meant we were last on the very long que. The other rental car companies had no one and Bargin was full from our flight so that's means something. We were traveling with friends and needed a larger car and was given a Toyota Aurion which was on the older style but comfortable and drove well no problems with our 8 days of travelling. WE had to take the car back to Launceston Airport and they promptly dropped my husband back as its not on site. I would say we had a good experience with Bargin and would hire a car from them again.
I wish I didnt have to give them a STAR But I wont EVER rent from them again-and other customers beware too! Below is a copy of what I wrote their head office as they tried to pass the holding of my deposit for 7-14 business days on MY Bank:Please tell your folks at Head Office I rated your service poorThere is no reason to hold my deposit for 7-14 business days The ONLY reason my bank does that is because Bargain Car Rentals does NOT request it released They (Citibank) would release the funds TODAY if your firm instructed them toAll the best to you and your firm I wont EVER rent from your company againWill NEVER rent from them - no reputable firm acts in this manner - shameful owners using my $$$

most, if not all cars are manual which they failed to let us know, pretty expensive considering the car wasnt very clean. over all, not great and wouldnt recommend.
