Great experience using Eurocar at Hobart airport. Very easy and quick registration, low security bond and we got a brand new ASX with low KMs so we were very pleased.Id recommend these guys for car hire while in Tasmania

Avoid this entire company at all costs. This company is a joke!!We rented a Subaru from Europcar Hobart Airport and noticed a chip on the windscreen while driving away from the airport. We called the head office straight away as there was no branch number, and were told to take a photo and send a email to them then not to worry anything about it. We sent the email after arrived at the hotel and decided to return to the airport just to let the branch officer know about it. And we were told not to worry about it AGAIN and they should have had 2 records in their system by then!!!!4 days later when we returned the car to the airport, we mentioned the chip again to the manager. And guess what! He advised us that its our responsibility!!!! What a joke!! We showed him the photo, the email and he said the photo was taken after you drove off and email was sent after you left the car park and we had 3 groups to check the damage each time so it was not possible before you pick it up. They failed to find the damage and now push everything to the customer. I guess this company is making money in a different way!! It was my FIRST and LAST time to rent a car from this company.
Booked through the Entertainment Book. Still open when I arrived at 9pm, staff were lovely and prompt - and because I booked through the Entertainment Book, was given a free upgrade! Car was in excellent condition, very enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend hiring through Europcar if travelling around Hobart/Tasmania.
